19 Place des Vosges

I am proud to represent the US owner of two of the finest properties in Paris. These adjoining properties enjoy a privileged location on Place des Vosges and Rue de Turenne in the Marais District of the 4th arrondissement - one of the most exclusive areas of Paris. The Marais district is a tourist destination of historic interest, with museums (e.g. Musée Carnavalet) and plenty of art galleries. The Place des Vosges is structured around two “pavilions”; that of the Queen at the northern end of the square, and that of the King at the southern end. The symmetry of the square, with its ground floor arcade, consists of 39 private mansions (“Hotel Particuliers”) - each made of red brick with stone facings. Several art galleries and gourmet restaurants (Carette, Ma Bourgogne, La Place Royale, l’Ambroisie) line the arcades bordering the square. The whole of the district of the Marais falls within the PSMV (historical safe-guard area) and any development here is strictly regulated. Built circa 1605, the townhouse (formerly “Hotel de Montbrun” and also known as the “Maison du Grand Henry”) on Place des Vosges offers approximately 10,000 square feet. This is the only townhouse on the square that it owned in its entirety by a single owner. The Art-Deco building on Rue de Turenne was built in 1929 and offers approximately 20,000 square feet.
